Drought remains embedded in Arkansas

Despite a series of late autumn rains, drought remains stubbornly embedded in Arkansas.  The ara covered by drought remains at 81.85 percent. It’s so dry in Logan County, extension  agent Lance Kirkpatrick says his area will need about 45 inches of rain into next May to get back to normalcy.
