Drought management part of Oct. 4 forestry tour
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas’ drought has left many with questions about managing hardwoods. On Oct. 4, extension foresters with the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, will offer some answers during the Hardwood Management Tour at the Livestock and Forestry Station at Batesville.
The tour begins with registration at 9:30 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. Registration deadline is Sept. 30 and event is limited to 30 people.
